GHALIB SHIRAZ DHALLA is a Los Angeles-based Author-Filmmaker-Journalist whose bestselling novels include the Lambda Literary Award Finalist, “The Exiles” and the groundbreaking cult classic, “Ode to Lata” which he adapted into the motion picture, “The Ode.” Dhalla’s second film, “Embrace” was the first dramatization of the Mumbai attacks and hailed by the Huffington Post as a film of “raw intensity” and a “fascinating glimpse of humanity in crisis.” Dhalla’s literary and film work has been honored at MIT, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the IAAC Literary Festival and at the prestigious Master’s Tea at Yale. We are honored to showcase “Finally Friday with Ghalib Shiraz”, a potpourri of new and nostalgic music fused with behind-the-scenes tidbits and interviews with the hottest talent. Special guests have already included Director – Madhur Bhandarkar and Ghazal maestro – Chandan Dass.
