From the Archives: Remembering Martyr Capt. Mandeep Singh

Capt. Mandeep Singh was commissioned in 49 Army Air Defence Regiment in 1991. During the Kargil conflict, Captain Mandeep Singh was attached with the 4 Rashtriya Rifles. Also known as “Harry” to his friends. He was a body builder who took part in a number of  competitions, some being Mr. Punjab and Mr. Jalandhar during his college days.

Captain Mandeep Singh made the Supreme sacrifice while battling militants in J&K during his tenure with 4 Rashtriya Rifles.

Capt. Mandeep Singh lives on in our hearts and lives on in the hearts of his wife, Mrs. Rajvinder Kaur, his two beautiful daughters, Gulmeher and Bani, his parents and his brothers & friends.
