It was fun talking with one of our very dear and active listener, Sushma Sri. A scientist by profession, Sushma lives in Fremont, California. So, Sushma was a in a festive mood…afterall it i s Makar Sankranti! She took us back to India , to the celebrations there from her memories….a peep there and also in the celebrations here in California…
We also have Anu Villapakkam on our show. Anu is also a scientist by profession but has taken a short little ‘Mommy Break’ as she says.Anu also lives in Fremont, California and with her, we go back to Chennai, where she grew up.She fondly remembered Pongal, as it is celebrated in india ….four days of celebration…wow!!
